FAQ

How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Once your order has been received, please allow 1-2 days for packing and dispatch. When your order has been dispatched you will receive an email from us with your tracking information or be informed if any delays are apparent. Currently, we do not ship on weekends and public holidays.
Please note that some items are specifically made to order and therefore may take up to two weeks to be completed. If this is the case, we will let you know via email shortly after you place your order with us. Of course we will try our best to get this item to you as soon as humanly possible.
If your package has not arrived within a week for European orders please contact us at info@wearemerlin.co

Will I receive customs/import duties?

Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. You may be charged for handling fees and taxes as your order passes through customs. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. We are not responsible for any customs and import duty charges.

How do I place a return or exchange?

Any request for exchanges/returns or refund (due to faulty), must be submitted to info@wearemerlin.co within 14 days following the day you receive your package.

How do I care for my MERLIN items?

Gentle machine or hand wash with pH-neutral (gentle) soap in lukewarm water (maximum 30 °C) to keep the original color. Wash it as infrequently as possible. Be careful not to wring out excess water, as this can damage the silk.

What can I do about stains on naturally dyed items?

Try soaking the item in lukewarm water with some ph neutral washing detergent, then put the fabric in the washing machine for a longer cycle. Do not use bleach as it will wash out the color.

My product's color looks different from the picture. Why is that?

We use plants for dyeing our silk items. Sometimes the same plants produce slightly different colors. The color depends on many factors such as soil, weather conditions etc. Usually it is not a big difference and plant colors are always super pretty. Don't worry!

My product's color changed after washing. What happened?

Plant dyes are sensitive to pH changes that's why we recommend to use pH neutral or mild detergent. If your product's color changed it was probably because your detergent was strongly alkaline. The change shouldn't be very noticeable, because we carefully chose plants which are not that sensitive to pH changes.
